The Derry Fire Department runs four Paramedic level ambulances that provide Advanced Life Support to the citizens of Derry, Auburn and Chester. Each ambulance run by the Derry Fire Department is staffed with a paramedic and EMT. The Derry Fire Department Emergency Medical Services is a CAAS Accredited Ambulance Service. Derry is one of only two services in New England, and one of only 7 Fire Department Based EMS systems in the country to have this certification |
