InDemand No Longer Offering NASCAR PPV Package
 

NASCAR has entered into an exclusive deal with DirecTV to carry NASCAR HOTPASS, a service which places race fans behind the wheel, in the pits and around the track with their favorite NASCAR drivers and teams, beginning in February 2007 (in time for the start of the NASCAR season).  As a result of this deal, NASCAR IN Car, a subscription sports package with similar content provided by iNDEMAND Networks, will no longer be available to cable subscribers.

 

Comcast will still carry all NASCAR races available on local and cable broadcast channels (FOX, ABC, ESPN, TNT, and SPEED) and the majority of these races (including every major points race) will be offered in high-definition.  DirecTV’s offering of local broadcast channels (standard and/or in HD) is not yet available in all areas.

New Security System Installed at DMC
  A new security system has been installed at the Derry Municipal Center.  The new system requires all visitors to Cable and Public Health to be buzzed in.  You will find two buttons at the top of the stairs in the foyer.  The buttons are labeled "Cable" and "Public Health"  Press the "Cable" button and someone will answer and open the door for you.  The elevator requires a security card to access the Lower Level.  You must be buzzed in or someone will need to come up to bring you down the elevator.  If we are not in the office you can go to the third floor.
