Healthy Aging Lecture Series ~ Navigating the Medicare Maze!
Wednesday, February 18th, at 12:30 pm
Marion Gerrish Community Center, 39 West Broadway

The Town of Derry Parks & Recreation Dept. and Parkland Medical have teamed up to offer a series of educational presentations about various health and wellness topics specifically for those aged 50 or better. Each lecture will consist of a presentation from a healthcare expert as well as a question and answer session. Seating is limited and advanced registration is requested. To register, call the Derry Parks & Recreation Department at (603) 432-6136.
2015 Splashpad Group Application
It might not seem like it, but summer is fast approaching! All groups and organizations interested in attending the Derry Splashpad this summer must complete and submit the Group Application prior to attending. Groups are encouraged to read through the group-use policy before completing the application form. Derry resident groups can register for the 2015 season starting February 2nd, 2015. Non -resident groups can register for the 2015 season starting March 30th, 2015. Derry resident groups are free of charge and non-resident based groups incur a $50.00 per visit fee. 2015 Splashpad Birthday/ Private Party Application
All individuals interested in visiting Don Ball Park for the purpose of a gathering, including but not limited to, a birthday party must complete and submit an application prior to attending. Dates are only available on Saturday’s and Sunday’s from mid-June through August in 2 hour increments. Derry residents can begin registering February 2nd, 2015. Non -residents can begin registering March 30th, 2015. The outdoor rental fee for Derry residents is $20.00 and non-residents are $50.00. T-Ball Sign-Ups Begin

Monday, February 2nd - Friday, April 3rd, 2015

T-Ball is a fun, instructional, and interactive program introducing youth ages 4 through 7 to the fundamentals of baseball in a friendly environment. The program follows a set schedule with games occurring twice weekly weather permitting.
Games and practices are scheduled by the Derry Recreation Department and are played at various fields throughout Derry. All official coaches and assistant coaches are registered volunteers through the Recreation Department.
Registration Fees are as follows:
Derry Resident Fee: $25.00
Non-resident Fee: $45.00
Each Additional Family Member: $10.00

The program will begin in early May and conclude by Mid-June. For questions, please contact the Recreation office at (603) 432-6136
Young Athletes Program
Monday, February 2, 2015 from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM
Veterans Hall Gym, 31 West Broadway


The Young Athletes™ program (YAP) is a FREE sports play program for all children ages 2-7, designed to introduce them to the world of sports. Many Young Athletes programs serve as an opportunity for children with and without to play and interact together. The Young Athletes program in New Hampshire is a great introduction to athletics for youth and families of all abilities.

There's no better way to celebrate winter in New Hampshire than with Frost Festival Weekend! With activities like a puppet show, Wildlife Encounters show, ice sculptures and so much more, Frost Festival is one you don’t want to miss. Senior Citizen Prom- Presented by Pinkerton Academy

Pinkerton Academy Senior Cafe- Fine Arts Building

Pinkerton Academy is pleased to invite you to the Senior Citizen Prom! The theme for this year will be "Luau", dressing in theme is encouraged but not required. Doors will open at 11:45AM. There is no fee for the prom, however, tickets are required for all attendees. Registration will begin Monday, March 9th for Derry Residents and Monday, March 16th for Non-Residents.
