 Hood Park is located on Rollins Street in Derry and will officially open for the 2011 season on Monday, June 20th. Operating hours throughout the season are 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (weather permitting). During these hours, the Hood House and concession stand will be open, lifeguards are on duty, and Recreation Staff are present.
Hood Park is the location of the Department's summer swim programs, including Instructional Swim Lessons, Pre-School Swim, and Guard Start. More information and registrations for all these programs can be found on the Summer Programs & Registrations page as the season gets closer!
In addition to the summer programs, Hood is also the perfect place for summer day activities for children! An activity calendar will be available for the months of June, July, and August with daily children's events, most of which are free of charge!
