Childhood Immunization Clinics
The Immunization Clinics have been temporarily suspended while our Department searches for a Medical Director. We will resume these clinics as soon as we have Physician oversight.
In the meantime, Derry residents can receive immunizations at the Manchester Health Department at 1528 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
The Manchester Immunization Clinic Hours are:
Monday 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Tuesday 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Wednesday 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Thursday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm (ONLY ON THE 2ND AND 4TH THURSDAYS)
Parents must accompany children under the age of 18 and must bring complete immunization records. We advise that you call the Manchester Health Department at (603) 624-6466 to check that the clinic will be open.
The Town of Derry Bureau of Public Health (DBPH) began offering Childhood Immunization Clinics in March, 2006. The Immunization Clinics are the result of a collaborative effort between the Derry Bureau of Public Health, School Nurses, the Alexander Eastman Foundation and the NH Department of Health and Human Services.
The clinics are designed to provide immunizations to school-age children who, because of their immunization status, are at risk from being excluded from school. School Nurses identify students who need updated immunizations, and contact the parents. The parents are made aware of the availability of the clinic at the Derry Bureau of Public Health and if they choose to attend, must pre-register with the Bureau of Public Health at 845-5519. Parents must accompany children under the age of 18, and must provide a copy of the child's immunization record. Parents may obtain copies of their child's immunization record from the school nurse.
Immunizations are provided at no cost.
For more information, either contact your child's school nurse or contact the Derry Bureau of Public Health at 845-5519.
