Derry Conservation Commission

 

General Information:

The Conservation Commission's primary functions are:

1) Reviewing Dredge and Fill Permit Applications
2) Reviewing site plans for developments
3) Managing conservation properties
4) Preservation of forested, agricultural and open space land

The Commission is composed of seven regular members and three alternates, appointed by town council, for a three year term.

Our  meetings are on the second  and fourth Monday of each month in the Derry Municipal Center in the 3rd Floor Conference Room, at 7:30 pm.
Special meetings are posted seven days in advance at the Municipal Center.

The Conservation Commission can accept gifts of land, easements, or money, subject to the approval of the Town Council for land acquisition or protection.
